Plan a walk

Tell me the walk you have in mind.

Four short questions. At the end you see my fee for those days, line by line, and send it to me as a letter. Nothing is booked and nothing is paid until we have written to each other.

What it would cost with me

My fee as your guide
Choose a walk to see it.

One rate for 1 to 5 people: a couple, friends or a family.

Paid where it is spent, not to me

Permits
The permits for this walk are listed on its own page, at what they cost.
Getting there
Flights or the road to the start and back. We book them together once the dates are clear.
Lodges and meals
Paid at the lodge, each evening, at the lodge's own price.
A porter
Only if you want one. About the same as a guide's day rate.
Tips
No pressure about tips. Give one at the end if you want to, as much as you like. Nobody will hurry you about it; the walk is meant to be a relaxed one.

I show one number: my own fee, because it is the only one I set. The rest we list together, at what it really costs.

A letter, not a booking. Nothing is paid until we have agreed the plan together.

Now: Bhaktapur · Usually within a day; a few days from the trail

No rush. Write when you are ready, and I will answer you myself.

Write to me

Tell me a little about the walk you have in mind. I read every message myself and usually reply within a day; from the trail, where there is often no network, it can take a few days.

Or, if you prefer, write to me on WhatsApp.
